More time has passed and still so many of us feel like we are in the dark regarding COVID-19. Is it a threat to us? What can we do to prepare holistically?
Many people have asked me what would my family and I do to handle an upper respiratory infection and especially corona virus.
Here are my holistic recommendations to prevent and treat upper respiratory, and viral infection. More specifically this is my personally plan for me and my family.
At the first sign of a respiratory infection:
-
- Humic Acid: Take 2 caps Pet Flora once or twice a day. Besides Soil Based probiotics, Pet Flora contains natural humic acid, one of the most effective anti-virals on the planet. We recently increased the humic acid to 30 percent.”Humic acid binds so strongly to viruses that it can actually displace them from a cell surface. In vitro studies have shown, for example, that if you allow herpes simplex viruses to attach to host cells and then add humic acid to the solution, it will displace viruses from infected cell surfaces. That is, humic acid has a greater affinity for the virus than the virus does for the host cell. Thus, humic acid can actually displace a virus even after it has attached itself to the surface of a cell. Humic Acid is first a preventative, because it interferes with a virus’ ability to attach to a host cell, penetrate the host cell, and reproduce itself. Scientific studies have demonstrated that if a host cell is penetrated before the introduction of the Humic Acid, the viral reproductive process within the host cell is not halted.” – clinicaleducation.org
- High Dose Vitamin C 1-4 Lypo-Spheric C packets throughout the day. It is still too early to know exactly how to treat COVID-19, however there have been previous studies reporting high doses of Vitamin C as a vital component to a treatment protocol for viral infections. Livon Labs has patented a technology, that wraps the Vitamin C in double-layered phospholipid spheres (liposomes) that protect the vitamin through the digestive system and transport it into the bloodstream for absorption in the cells. So, you get all the benefits of high-dose Vitamin C without the gastric distress. see case report
- Vitamin D: 5000 units up to 5 times a day. Vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin) is thought to protect against respiratory infections by boosting levels of antimicrobial peptides — natural antibiotic-like substances — in the lungs.
here are 2 studies:
1. The Role of Vitamin D in Prevention and Treatment of Infection
2. Vitamin D supplements protect against acute respiratory infections including colds and flu, according to a study led by Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). - Nasal Health: Viruses like the Corona virus or influenza are transmitted through the air. Cleaning your nose out at the end of the day can help wash away bacteria and infection. Fill a Jala Neti pot with (ionic) colloidal silver (Argentate), add 3 drops 3% H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) and a pinch of salt. (viruses breed in the nasal cavities and the upper respiratory system). Not ready for the Neti pot quiet yet, mainstream drug stores and amazon are offering simple nose sprays for everyday nasal health, we recommend XLEAR Nasal Spray.
- Powerful Anti-Viral Solution: Add to your filtered water these three ingredients and you will have nature’s most powerful anti-viral! 3 drops food grade 3% H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide), 1 tsp licorice extract, 10 drops Agrisept (Grapefruit (seed) / Toronja (pepita), Lemon (seed) / Limon (pepita), Lime (seed) / Lima (pepita), Tangerine (seed) / Mandarina (pepita)). I believe this solution alone can stop viruses like COVID-19.
These recommendations, excluding #5, are what I do proactively, just in smaller doses. My advice to you is to have these on hand, take them daily and along with diet and exercise you will have a strong defense against any virus, including COVID-19. It is easy to be fearful in times like these, stay calm and take charge of your personal health.
Hi there! Just wondering why you don’t do #5 with the agricept?
Also what do you mean by smaller doses and why?
Agricept is a branded product sold by another company and is for humans. WE have not tested Agricept for cats and dogs.
Smaller doses are meant to lessen the risk of overwhelming the animal’s system and is explained in the doc below.
Guidance on dosage for dogs and cats but especially for cats:
(1) These dosage tips apply to any new food or supplement.
There is no set dosage for the optimal dosage. The optimal dosage varies from animal to animal. The optimal, or effective, dosage has to be found by testing, administering incrementally. Similarly, there is no set combination of products. The combination of supplements has to be found by testing. You are looking for stability not a preset dosage and combination of products.
(2) Start with any one product.
(3) Proceed little by little. Incrementalism creates steps in the dosages and combinations. You may increase or decrease dosages every four hours .
Keep a diary if necessary. By proceeding in steps, you can back up to a previous dosage, stay at the present dosage, or move forward by increasing dosages and adding additional supplements. These products have no toxic dose, so you can test safely, without the risk of serious side effects.
(4) There are no hard rules for adding additional products. You will have to judge by the results. Everything is safe and the worst thing that can happen is diarrhea or vomiting. In which case, you back up.
(5) Judge your animals reaction at each step. Are the symptoms getting worse? getting better? or are they staying the same? This will help guide you as to whether you should increase, stay the same, or go back to a previous dose.
(6) If at the first step, you get an increase in diarrhea or vomiting, stop that supplement, and try another. If there is no change, continue raising dosage until you start seeing symptoms getting better, or add another product to the first, as they could work better together
(7) If you reach a step where symptoms seem to get worse, go back to the previous step.
(8) At the step that symptoms improve, stay at that step, unless you feel there is room for even more improvement, then keep increasing.
(9) Feed only one type of food. Preferably “Limited ingredients, grain free, single protein”. Rabbit or venison. No snacks or food variations. This will eliminate variables.
(10) If your animal will not eat the supplements on food, then go thru the preceding steps by syringe feeding or use a rubber coated baby spoon.
(11) Wet powders to add to dry food to ensure the powders are not inhaled.
I see. I was mostly looking at this info as a way to help my human family in preventing corona virus Thank you for responding so quickly and thoroughly!
Thank you for sharing! I live in NYC–in the “thick of it” –would you recommend #5 for humans?
Yes, I recommend number 5. But Agrisept and licorice alone will overcome any infection. Add in Lypo C and 100 mg zinc and you’re bullet proof.
Thank you. Do you have a favorite Licorice extract to recommend?
No. any Licorice alcohol free will do
thanks for the article. Sadie has some kind of lung infection. She went to the vet yesterday and he prescribed doxycycline. She is breathing hard and coughing. I hope she gets better soon. It hurts me to see her in distress. I’ll try some of your cures tomorrow.
