Treatment Resistant Vomiting Protocol for Cats
When all else fails …
TRV Protocol for cats and kittens is a targeted collection of effective yet gentle, high quality ingredients from around the world combined to address occasional gastric distress with vomiting. We also paid special attention to the taste, so it would have a high acceptability with finicky cats. The products and information available in this protocol give our costumers the tools needed to achieve success.
What is the difference between TRD&V Protocol and TRV Protocol? TRV is less drying and therefore will not result in constipation. If your cat also has occasional diarrhea as well as vomiting, then you may need TRD&V Protocol for Cats.
The key to the success of TRV Protocol is the combination of three of our most popular products; Luxolite, Feline Comfort and GI Distress.
We, at Vitality Science, make sure our products are in their purest form. We do not add any fillers, flowing agents or anything other than what is on the label. The natural products in our most time-tested ingredients are extremely safe and are a helpful addition to your cat’s or dog’s health plan. Hence our products are 100% safe, gentle and natural.
The best deal about Vitality Science is that we have excellent customer support. We work with you to choose the right food, identify potential toxins in your home, and guide your supplementation. Feline Comfort 120g/220g is a complex powder formula. Used for occasional gastric distress. It helps to maintain a healthy intestinal tract and proper gut flora.
Carefully Selected Ingredients:
Arabinogalactan: While Arabinogalactan and its constituent parts are common in nature, the commercial extraction is taken from a Larch tree. It is a water soluble fiber and supports immune competence. Arabinogalactan is a long chain polysaccharides containing arabinose and galactose mono-saccharides. Arabinogalactan is actively fermented by intestinal micro-flora and is effective at increasing beneficial anaerobes such as those in Pet Flora.
L-Glutamine: An important amino acid with cellular energy producing qualities, L-Glutamine helps protect the lining of the stomach and also may prevent the formation of stomach irritations.
Psyllium Seed Powder Psyllium, derived from the seeds of Plantago ovata, is an herb mainly grown in India. It is a type of fiber commonly used as a gentle, bulk-forming laxative. Being a soluble fiber, psyllium is able to pass through your digestive system without being completely broken down or absorbed.
Slippery Elm: This herb has been traditionally used to soothe the digestive tract and intestinal walls. Slippery elm provides mucilage, which forms a slippery substance when combined with water. Mucilage can calm intestinal tissues, promote healthy detoxification in the bowel, and help maintain normal elimination patterns.
Vitality Science Pet Flora: A proprietary collection of soil-based organisms, probiotics that suppress yeast and fungi, reduces acidity, and improves nutrient assimilation.
Bio Core Complete: BioCore® provides targeted solutions to a variety of digestive problems. From digestive discomforts to different dietary regimens, along with basic digestive support to the delivery of specific nutrients; BioCore® products and blends offer some of the most innovative enzyme blends on the market.
Serrazimes: Serratiopeptidase, also known as serrapeptidase and serrapeptase, is a protease originally found in the gut of the silkworm. It is produced by the bacteria Serratia marcescens. This protease has been the subject of much research and its use has grown in Asia and Europe. Studies support serratiopeptidase’s benefit in supporting musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory health.
Bromelain: is a protein-digesting enzyme, sourced from the pineapple fruit. This fascinating compound has traditionally been used as a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling agent. Because it’s an enzyme, bromelain helps the body digest food and absorb nutrients more efficiently, as well as being extremely effective at healing issues in the gastrointestinal tract.
Zinc-carnosine: Formed by chelating zinc to carnosine in a one-to-one ratio. This process of bonding ions and molecules makes the combination three times more potent than the individual components alone. By itself, zinc is already very beneficial for optimum digestive health. It is the second most abundant naturally-occurring mineral in the body necessary to numerous functions and biochemical reactions. L-carnosine, on the other hand, has strong antioxidant and tissue-healing properties. It also helps transport the zinc carnosine to problematic areas in the gastrointestinal tract where it can take effect. Together, these two components are known to be a force to reckon with – helping to improve the body’s cell function, digestion and immune system, among others.
Liver Powder: Fresh hormone-free Argentinean Beef Liver, from Argentinian natural grass fed cows. These cows have never been on feed lots and freely roam the Pampas. Plus it is a flavor well liked by cats and dogs.
GI Distress 2oz
Soothe your cat’s stomach, and normalize bowl function with these all-natural herbs, based on time-tested, traditional medicinal formulas. An herbal tincture that helps support a healthy G.I. tract, and a healthy inflammatory response.
Yucca: Yucca schidigera is a medicinal plant native to Mexico. Yucca powder and yucca extract are used as animal feed additives.
Matricaria recutita (German Chamomile) is used medicinally against sore stomach, and as a gentle sleep aid
Nepeta cataria (Catnip) Catnip tea was the most commonly consumed herbal beverage in Europe prior to the importation of teas from the orient. Consuming Catnip tea has long been used in traditional herbal medicine to quell digestive disturbances. While the smell produces a harmless high for felines, consuming the extract is beneficial for felines, and canines. Catnip contains considerable quantities of vitamins C and E, both excellent antioxidants. The primary phytochemicals, nepetalactone isomers, are mild sedatives, somewhat like the active ingredients in valerian.
Scutellaria lateriflora (Skullcap) is an herb from the mint family. Antispasmodic: The herb can help minimize throat infections, headaches from stress, neuralgia and after-effects of incessant coughing.
Licorice: is known as The Great Harmonizer because of its ability to make all other herbs work more effectively. Licorice is the second most prescribed herb in China. Rhizomes in Licorice have a high mucilage content which, when mixed with water or used in cough drops, soothes irritated mucous membranes. Today, herbal preparations containing Licorice Root are used to lower acid levels and coat the stomach wall with a protective gel.
Luxolite is negatively-charged and works like a magnet to attract positively-charged toxins such as lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium and many more and carries them out of the body within hours.
Luxolite is a hydrated clay that supports intestinal health while helping to support the body’s normal process of detoxification. It is naturally absorbent and extremely gentle on the system.
“When clay is consumed, its vital force is released into the physical body and mingles with the vital energy of the body, creating a stronger, more powerful energy in the host. The natural magnetic action transmits a remarkable power to the organism and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy.”
“When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body’s inner resources to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well. Clay is said to propel the immune system to find a new healthy balance and strengthens the body to a point of higher resistance.”
