Carefully Selected Ingredients:
Arabinogalactan: While Arabinogalactan and its constituent parts are common in nature, the commercial extraction is taken from a Larch tree. It is water soluble and enhances immune competence. Arabinogalactan is a long chain polysaccharide containing arabinose and galactose monosaccharides. Arabinogalactan is actively fermented by intestinal microflora and is effective at increasing beneficial anaerobes such as those in Pet Flora.
L-Glutamine: Peptide-bound form, amino acid, is the most easily assimilated form of L-Glutamine. This form is absorbed up to 20 times better than free form amino acid and has cellular energy producing qualities, L-Glutamine helps protect the lining of the stomach and also may prevent the formation of stomach irritations.
Psyllium Seed Powder Psyllium, derived from the seeds of Plantago ovata, is an herb mainly grown in India. It is a type of fiber commonly used as a gentle, bulk-forming laxative. Being a soluble fiber, psyllium is able to pass through your digestive system without being completely broken down or absorbed.
Slippery Elm is an herbal preparation made from the slippery inner bark of a type of elm tree. Slippery elm has been used for centuries in North America for medicinal purposes. Slippery elm contains mucilage, a sticky mixture of sugars that can’t be broken down by the digestive tract. It is capable of soothing the lining of the stomach and intestines and reducing irritation.
Bio Core Complete: BioCore® provides targeted solutions to a variety of digestive problems. From digestive discomforts to different dietary regimens, along with basic digestive support to the delivery of specific nutrients; BioCore® products and blends offer some of the most innovative enzyme blends on the market.
Pet Flora, Vitality Science: A proprietary collection of soil-based organisms, probiotics that suppress yeast and fungi, reduces acidity, and improves nutrient assimilation.
Diatomaceous Earth: is a naturally-formed sedimentary mineral rock. It’s derived from the remains of diatoms, or oceanic unicellular algae. Diatoms are over 30 million years old and are formed from the cementation of microscopic algae-like plant remains into the earth’s surface. These clay-like, chalky remains are usually found in the form of a thick, white, siliceous powder known as diatomaceous earth. Often used to support body cleansing, some research also suggests it’s a natural tool for promoting normal blood lipids, detoxing toxic metals, and fighting harmful intestinal organisms.
Zeolite (Clinoptololite): Formed when lava meets sea water. The negative charge naturally alkalizes the body by balancing pH and enhancing the body’s digestive processes which are more efficient when the rest of the body maintains its alkalinity.
Serrazimes: Serratiopeptidase, also known as serrapeptidase and serrapeptase, is a protease originally found in the gut of the silkworm. It is produced by the bacteria Serratia marcescens. This protease has been the subject of much research and its use has grown in Asia and Europe. Studies support serratiopeptidase’s benefit in supporting musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory health.
Bromelain: is a protein-digesting enzyme, sourced from the pineapple fruit. This fascinating compound has traditionally been used as a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling agent, making it a great natural replacement to harmful medications like asprin. Because it’s an enzyme, bromelain helps the body digest food and absorb nutrients more efficiently, as well as being extremely effective at healing issues in the gastrointestinal tract. Studies suggest it may reduce allergic sensitivity and development of allergic airway disease.
Zinc-carnosine: Formed by chelating zinc to carnosine in a one-to-one ratio. This process of bonding ions and molecules makes the combination three times more potent than the individual components alone. By itself, zinc is already very beneficial for optimum digestive health. It is the second most abundant naturally-occurring mineral in the body necessary to numerous functions and biochemical reactions. L-carnosine, on the other hand, has strong antioxidant and tissue-healing properties. It also helps transport the zinc carnosine to problematic areas in the gastrointestinal tract where it can take effect. Together, these two components are known to be a force to reckon with – helping to improve the body’s cell function, digestion and immune system, among others.
Bentonite Clay: A pure white clay from the Pauite territory in Utah. It is negatively-charged and works like a magnet to attract positively-charged toxins such as lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium and many more and carries them out of the body within hours.
Beef Liver Powder: Fresh from hormone-free Argentinean Beef Liver, from Argentinian natural grass fed cows. These cows have never been on feed lots and freely roam the Pampas
- Dogs (0 to 20 lbs.) 1.5 gms., 1 level tsp.
- Dogs (20-50 lbs.) 3 gms., 2 level tsp.
- Dogs 50-100 lbs.) 4.5 gms., 3 level tsp
The latitude of safety is very wide and there is no need to be concerned about exact dosages. Your dog may need less or much more. Experiment to find the right dosage. Expect miracles.
Arabinogalactan stimulates macrophage activity and therefore may be effective in preventing cancer
Immunomodulating activity of arabinogalactan and fucoidan in vitro.
J Med Food. 2005 Winter;8(4):446-53. Department of Biotechnology & Bioproducts Research Center, Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea.
Many polysaccharides obtained from natural sources are considered to be biological response modifiers and have been shown to enhance various immune responses. These data suggest that arabinogalactan and fucoidan are activators of lymphocytes and macrophages. This property may contribute to their effectiveness in the immunoprevention of cancer.
